Quality in Careers Standard Award

Following a review of the Assessment Portfolio and an On-Site Assessment, the assessor for The Quality in Careers Standard concluded that we had met the standard for the Careers Mark.

Wodensborough Ormiston Academy’s senior leadership team is passionate about the role of careers learning for their students. They have clearly identified that a good careers education programme can raise aspirations, broaden horizons and give students the skills to implement their aims.

The dedication of Wodensborough Ormiston Academy to improve the career opportunities of its students can be summarised by a comment from a Year 11 student:
