Pupil Premium
The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
gov.uk guidance
We are ambitious for all of our learners. At WOA we recognise that we have a large number of students who are eligible for pupil premium funding. As such we are committed to removing the barriers that these students may face to achieving their maximum potential. We are here to change lives.

Graduated Approach
A graduated approach to supporting Pupil Premium students means offering layers of support that increase in intensity depending on each learner’s needs and progress. It begins with high-quality teaching and universal strategies, then moves to targeted academic or pastoral interventions, and can escalate to specialist support if required. This ensures resources are used effectively so every Pupil Premium student can overcome barriers and achieve their potential. See below for the WOA Way!
